About the Event

Seminar Description

You may not be able to change the work difficulties you face, so it’s in your best interest to build the capability to perform effectively under daily pressure, without burning out.

We have identified the disciplines of professionals who rise to the occasion in various high-pressure situations, and have translated them into the practical tools and skills that are featured in the Performance Under Pressure 1-day seminar delivered via three separate online Zoom classes of 2 hours 20 minutes each across a 3-day period.

Do More Than Cope

Not a stress management program, "Performance Under Pressure" will show you how to increase stress-resilience to deal with the inevitable pressures at work more effectively. "Performance Under Pressure" will give you the tools to survive and thrive in tough situations.

Outline

  • Personal Risk Assessment: Participants complete a personal risk analysis that identifies factors that reduce their productivity and motivation in high-pressure situations. They learn not only what work conditions create the most challenges for them personally, but also what they do themselves that contributes to their own potential burnout.
  • Performance Under Pressure (PUP) Model: Participants learn a powerful model that defines the six disciplines of successful performance leaders under pressure. They assess themselves using this model.
  • Solutions and Actions: Participants learn concrete solutions and practical tips. They develop a tangible and measurable action plan to ensure that they use what they have learned back on the job.
  • Performance Under Pressure Tool Box: Tips and strategies based on the PUP model. Also included are tools for negotiating work volume and deadlines.

This highly interactive seminar will include learning games, best practice sharing, a quiz, facilitator demonstrations of some of the key techniques, and opportunities to try some of the techniques yourself; making for an action-packed and varied learning experience.
