This webinar will cover Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) lidar collection, systems, capabilities, limitations, and realistic expectations. We will discuss where the technology is now, and what the future holds. Hear about what collection in the field looks like and some best practices for achieving high-quality data. Learn about new technologies and best practices in lidar classification, as well as two case studies where UAV lidar was applied.

Learning Objectives

  • Range of UAV lidar systems on the market
  • Limitations and capabilities of UAV lidar
  • Lidar data classification capabilities (including cloud computing options)
  • Applications from the field

Target Audience

Anyone who is considering the use of UAV lidar or interested in when UAV's might be a substitute for manned aerial lidar collection.
