Event Description

The Women in Engineering and Geoscience Division is hosting a book club. The first book will be "Educated" by Tara Westover. This is a fascinating and deeply personal memoir about a woman's journey to education. Join Michelle McLarty, P.Eng., Women in Engineering and Geoscience Division Chair, and Nicole Brisson, P.Eng., Division Executive for an engaging discussion; we will explore key themes and reflect how they resonate within the world today.

About the Event

How Book Club Works

The book club is run by the Women in Engineering and Geoscience Division executive committee. Books are selected based on participant interest and relevance to women in engineering and geoscience. Sessions are hosted via teams virtual meeting so that members across the province can discuss and connect on the book together.

How To Get The Book

A digitial or hardcopy of this book can be purchased through Amazon. Alternatively, there may be limited copies of the book at your local library or bookstore. Please contact your local library branch for availability.
