About the Event

Presenter

Tara Zrymiak, P.Eng., FEC, FGC (Hon.)

Senior Process Engineer

Tara's consulting work in the mining industry often involves making decisions and recommendations based on analysis of data and information provided remotely rather than direct observation of site conditions. She will talk about the various sources of this information, the benefits and challenges of each of them, and how they can all be used together to complete the required tasks.

Bryan Dyck, P.Eng.

Senior Metallurgist

Milling is one of the first steps of the uranium nuclear fuel cycle. This presentation will be a general overview of uranium milling processes focused on Cameco Corporation’s northern Saskatchewan operations. Details of mill unit operations and chemistry to upgrade mined ore to a uranium concentrate will be presented.
