This session will have an overview of the Climate Emergency Action Plan (CEAP), a discussion on impact to residents and businesses, outline the future steps for gathering public input, and provide an opportunity for Q&A.

This plan means change. It means residents, businesses and the City doing our part to transition off fossil fuels. It is designed to make it easier for you to live a carbon-free life. City of Vancouver will continue to gather public input on the actions as we move forward to make this an effective and equitable climate plan.

Presenter

Matt Horne

Matt Horne is the City of Vancouver's climate policy manager. He is responsible for implementing the City's Climate Emergency Action Plan including the commitment to cut carbon pollution in half by 2030. He also advises senior management, and Mayor and Council on climate change policy issues.
