Event Description

The Strata Property Act states that strata corporations must obtain depreciation reports from a “qualified person” that estimate the repair and replacement cost for major items in the strata corporation and the expected life of those items. Engineers are one such “qualified person”, who can provide the required knowledge and expertise. Part 2 of this two-day seminar will provide engineers with a good fundamental understanding of the steps required to carry out the financial analysis of contingency reserve fund studies, and how to assemble a depreciation report.
