Event Description

Join the Fraser Valley Branch for their virtual bridge competition. The goal of this competition is to promote the awareness of the engineering profession. Rules and design criteria will be provided to registrants.

About the Event

Event Details

A virtual workshop and presentation will take place on May 21, 2022 from 11:00 AM–12:00 PM to assist participants on the instructions and details of the competition. The actual bridge testing will be in-person on June 4, 2022 from 11:00 AM–2:00 PM.

Event Logistics

  • Design criteria will be sent to registered participants via email.
  • Bridge building materials will be provided to participants via mail.
  • Participants are required to drop off bridges at their own cost.
  • Results will be announced after the bridge busting is completed.
  • There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place participants, and three prizes for best design.
