Engineers and Geoscientists BC’s Communicable Disease Prevention Policy is now in place which allows for in-person external meetings and events. There are specific safety protocols that must be followed by all attendees including a requirement that all attendees of an in-person event to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Vaccination status will be confirmed by the meeting organizer upon arrival at the event location.

Event Description

Join Victoria Branch for the first hybrid event of the year, a tour of Beacon Brewing in beautiful downtown Sidney, BC, and the branch Annual General Meeting.

  • 6:00 PM: Branch Annual General Meeting
  • 6:30 PM: Brewery Tour and networking

Event Description

This hybrid event provides both an opportunity to network with fellow Engineers and Geoscientists BC in a relaxed atmosphere at Beacon Brewing tasting room. The Annual General Meeting for the Victoria Branch registrants will be conducted at the event. It will be live-streamed free of charge to those who wish to attend online.

Beacon Brewing is a family-owned and operated, small-batch, non-distribution brewery with tasting room run by Alexa, Tristan, and Steven. A family team that is committed to supporting the local community that they live in and call home using local ingredients.

Beacon Brewing’s tasting room offers pints and flights of their beer brewed on site, as well as local cider, wine, and soda offerings. They offer local snack options, as well as pizza from Peninsula Pizza. Beacon Brewing also welcomes patrons to bring in take out from any of the local restaurants in Sidney!

Tristan, the brew master, will conduct small-group intimate tours of the brewery equipment, process, and technology to make their craft beers.

Light fare (appetizers) and one complimentary beverage included.
