Event Description


The presentation will cover the wastewater treatment process which services up to 100,000 people in the Nanaimo area. It will also take a look at the 2017-2020 $82 million secondary treatment upgrade.

James Haddou, P.Eng.

About the Event


Presenter

James Haddou, P.Eng.

Mr. Haddou is an integrated engineer focused on civil and mechanical engineering. His professional background has been in research, hydraulics, mechanical equipment specification in pulp and paper, 3D modelling and finite element stress analysis, and construction management. He is currently a project engineer with the Regional District of Nanaimo and works mainly with the liquid waste group. Mr. Haddou's role there includes initiating improvements and upgrades to facilities and infrastructure, leading a project team through design and construction, and optimizing facility operations.
