The Benevolent Fund assists Engineers and Geoscientists BC members in financial distress to overcome short-term cash-flow difficulties, usually resulting from a loss of employment.

Almost 1,000 members volunteer their services to Engineers and Geoscientists BC every year. Many of these members participate in Branch and Division executives in their own region or area of expertise, while others serve as committee or task force volunteers.
