About the Foundation

The Engineers and Geoscientists BC Foundation is a registered charity that promotes education in engineering and geoscience through the granting of bursaries and scholarships. The Foundation is administered by a Board of Directors and operates at arms-length from the association. It encourages the involvement of external donors and partners, including branches, in establishing and funding other bursaries and scholarships.

The Foundation was chartered in 1994. Since its inception, members and firms have generously donated, which has enabled the Foundation to expand the number and value of undergraduate scholarship programs.
