BC Hydro - Engineers and Geoscientists BC Scholarships
Application Guidelines
With the future of engineering and earth science students in mind, BC Hydro and Engineers and Geoscientists BC have united efforts to offer the BC Hydro–Engineers and Geoscientists BC Scholarships. These scholarships are offered to engineering and earth science students and focus on encouraging students to continue with their goal of becoming professional engineers or geoscientists.
A total of 6 scholarships, each valued at $2,500, will be awarded to deserving students studying in accredited engineering programs or in geology, environmental geoscience, or geophysics programs at post-secondary institutions in BC. Students from all engineering and earth science disciplines may apply. Scholarship selection will be based on academic standing, professional or community involvement, a written statement, and the student’s resume.
Deadline
Applications are accepted until 11:59 PM on Friday, September 29, 2023.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be enrolled in courses or in a co-op program for the current academic year.
- Applicants must be full-time students in the current academic year.
- Applicants must be residents of British Columbia.
- Previously successful applicants who still qualify under the criteria above are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.

- Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
- Only applications submitted using this online form will be accepted. Mailed, faxed, or emailed applications will not be accepted.
