An overview of Engineers and Geoscientists BC’s 2017/2018 operating and capital budget will be available online for viewing by members and the public. A live webcast is scheduled for October 4, 2017, at 10 AM, and the recorded session will be made available online.

Council approved the 2017/2018 operating and capital budget on April 28, 2017 and details of the 2017/2018 budget are available online.  The budget was prepared in accordance with the Council approved 2017/2018 budget guidelines and reviewed by the Executive Committee prior to being presented to Council.  This is the first year of the three-year budget approved in April.

The Budget Overview session will be presented by Engineers and Geoscientists BC’s Director of Finance and Administration, Jennifer Cho, CPA, CGA.  Registration will be necessary to obtain the login information to attend the live webcast and can be completed online through the event information page.

Engineers and Geoscientists BC’s budget is created within clear guidelines set by Council and in compliance with the association's Sustainable Financial Management Policy. On an annual basis, following scrutiny and revision by the Executive Committee of Council, it is brought forward for examination and approval by Council. Providing an overview of the budget for members supports the association’s values of transparency and accountability.

A recording of this webcast will be made available in the Responsible Financial Management section of the Engineers and Geoscientists BC website following the event. Alternatively, register online now for the October 4, 2017, live webcast.
