Do You Qualify for Fellowship from Engineers Canada or Geoscientists Canada?

Posted on 24 November 2016

Fellowships from Engineers Canada and Geoscientists Canada recognise individuals who have contributed significantly to these professions. The fellowships may be conferred upon individuals who have given noteworthy service in one of five categories, one of which is having served the engineering or geoscientist profession in a volunteer capacity for at least 10 years. Length of service can combine service on Engineers Canada or Geoscientists Canada boards and committees and/or service as a volunteer for the organisations' constituent members, e.g., APEGBC.

APEGBC would like to identify all members who qualify for this honour. If you have served either profession as noted for at least 10 years, visit  for information on how to apply. Engineers Canada Fellowship submissions must be received by November 30. Geoscientists Canada Fellowship submissions are due February 20.

The members of the engineering and geoscience professions and non-member upon whom this honour is bestowed receive a certificate and a pin, and are awarded the privilege of the use of the fellowship designation, e.g., “Engineers Canada Fellow – FEC," "Engineers Canada Honorary Fellow – FEC (Hon.),” "Geoscientists Canada Fellow – FGC," or Geoscientists Canada Honorary Fellow – FGC (Hon.)."
