Innovation, Engineers and Geoscientists BC’s official bimonthly magazine, now includes video and multimedia in its digital edition, found at egbc.ca/innovation.
Innovation debuted digital video in its January-February Centennial Collector’s Edition, a unique, 52-page look at the history of engineering and geoscience in BC over the last 100 years. The edition features clips from Vancouver and Victoria’s Harbour from 1907, the Britannia Mine, construction of the Lion’s Gate and Port Mann bridges, and the 1958 explosion of Ripple Rock—and recent clips, such as a time-lapse of the renovation of BC Place.
Each edition of Innovation is published in a digital platform that includes web links and an interactive Table of Contents, and can be accessed from any desktop, tablet, or smartphone device. Innovation expects to include video and other multimedia clips in all future digital editions of the magazine.
To access the digital edition, subscribers to the paper copy of Innovation can use any mobile device to capture the QR Code in the Table of Contents, which links directly to the digital edition on their device. The digital edition is also hosted at egbc.ca/innovation.
