More Online Learning Opportunities Available

Posted on February 06, 2018
Engineers and Geoscientists BC recognizes the value that continuous learning and development contribute to the practice of BC engineering and geoscience professionals. We offer numerous technical, business, and managerial seminars and webinars to address professionals’ interests and needs based on the input received from members.

The Online Learning Centre was launched on the association’s website last year to expand the type of learning platforms available to members. The Online Learning Centre allows members to enjoy the flexibility and convenience of learning whenever and wherever they choose. It features video and audio recordings of previously held Engineers and Geoscientists BC webinars, synchronized with presentation slides. Currently, 17 offerings are available on the Online Learning Centre, including a number of free sessions.

In addition, we continue to host live webinars throughout the year. These are added to the events calendar as registration becomes available. Last year, 24 online courses were hosted, drawing participation from members across the province. You can find the Online Learning Centre on our website under Practice Resources. For a listing of upcoming webinars and professional development events, see our calendar of events.
