Participate in self-regulation by voting in the Council Election

Posted on September 5, 2019
Voting for the 2019/2020 Council election is now open. Professional engineers (P.Eng.), professional geoscientists (P.Geo.), engineering licensees (Eng.L.), and geoscience licensees (Geo.L) are eligible and encouraged to vote.

Council elections provide members with the opportunity to participate in self-regulation by selecting leaders that they feel are best positioned to lead the organization and uphold our mandate to serve the public interest.

All candidates selected to stand for this year’s election were approved by the Nominating Committee using a rigorous merit-based process, as required by the new Professional Governance Act.

Candidate statements are provided on our website. To help you make an informed decision, we have provided additional resources including candidate profiles, Q&As, and short videos for the Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates.

Voting closes at noon PDT, on Friday, October 4, 2019. Your participation in this process is important; as an engineering or geoscience professional, support the association’s self-governance by making an informed choice and casting your vote today.
