This seminar is developed for engineers-in-training (EITs) or experienced individuals who are planning to apply for their professional engineer (P.Eng.) or engineering licensee (Eng.L.) designation. It is designed to address the tools and tips necessary to prepare for the competency experience report and to appoint appropriate references/validators. It is a resource for all who intend to apply within the next 6–12 months and a tool for Engineers and Geoscientists BC to facilitate and expedite the P.Eng. application processes.

Registration Activity Manager, Engineers and Geoscientists BC

Omid Lashkari is the Registration Activity Manager at Engineers and Geoscientists BC. He manages and oversees the registration processes for professional engineers. His work focuses on improving registration activities, identifying the source of failure during registration processes, and implementing actions to improve the quality of the applications and to expedite the processes.

Omid has been with Engineers and Geoscientists BC since 2017 with prior experiences working with various research, engineering, and manufacturing firms. He is an internationally and Canadian-trained professional engineer and obtained his bachelor, masters, and doctorate in metallurgical engineering.
