The regulatory landscape in BC is changing and the implementation of the Professional Governance Act in November 2020, represents a shift in how the professions of engineering and geoscience are regulated, and introduces new obligations and requirements to professional engineers and geoscientists.

Engineers and Geoscientists BC recognizes that transitioning from a near 100-year-old piece of legislation can raise questions and concerns amongst registrants and we are committed to ensuring registrants are kept informed throughout the transition period.

This webinar will provide an update on the status of the Professional Governance Act, including information on the Code of Ethics, Continuing Education Program, Annual Information Reporting, and other changes that will come into effect in November 2020. This webinar will also provide registrants the opportunity to have their questions on this important topic answered by President Lianna Mah, P.Eng., FEC.
