Professional Roles and Responsibilities for the Life Cycle of Forest Road Crossings

Video Length: 56:27:00

Date Recorded: October/10/2019

This webinar reviews the 2019 Practice Advisory on the Professional Roles and Responsibilities for the Life Cycle of Forest Road Crossings. The Advisory is intended to describe the roles and responsibilities of project participants involved in the design, construction, maintenance, and deactivation of forest road crossings, as well as the regulation of the relevant areas of practice by professional regulatory bodies and by the government. The Advisory is intended to be consistent with the Guideline for Professional Services in the Forest Sector - Crossings V.2, June, 2014, but expands the coverage of the crossings responsibilities to include further life cycle elements, such as bridge inspections, maintenance, and deactivation, as well as introducing the need for quality assurance for the fabrication of those materials that will be used for the bridge construction.
