Use of Seal for Municipal Documents

Video Length: 57:34

Date Recorded: September/11/2019

In partnership with the Municipal Engineers Division. All engineering and geoscience professionals are required to seal professional documents that are prepared by them or under their direct supervision and delivered to others who will rely on them. Unfortunately, confusion regarding sealing requirements, what should be sealed, and what shouldn’t be sealed remains one of the top issues identified in Practice Reviews and Organizational Quality Management audits. This presentation will clarify sealing requirements in BC, and address municipal specific issues.
