Call for 2019 Annual Conference Presenters

We are currently seeking presenters for technical, business, managerial and personal development topics for the 2019 Annual Conference to be held in Kelowna, BC. 

Where: Delta Grand Okanagan Resort and Conference Centre, Kelowna, BC
When: Thursday, October 17 and Friday, October 18, 2019

2019 Conference Program

The 2019 Annual Conference and Annual General Meeting will take place October 17–19, 2019 in Kelowna, BC. The conference and AGM will be held at the Delta Grand Okanagan Resort and will be the venue for two days of professional development sessions, networking opportunities and an exhibitor tradeshow, followed by the 100th annual general meeting of Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia.
 
The conference brings together engineers, geoscientists, technologists, faculty, government representatives, students and other members of the community. An anticipated 800 delegates will be in attendance at this year’s conference. Last year’s professional development sessions included the following streams:

Consulting Practice Diversity
Emerging Professional Management
Energy Efficiency and
Renewable Energy

Engineering and Geoscience in the
Resource Sector
Structural Engineering
Please note presenters must be available on either Thursday, October 17 or Friday, October 18, 2019. If your proposal is accepted, we will notify you of the presentation date and time when confirmed.  Each professional development meeting room will be set up in theater style and will be equipped with a laptop, LCD projector, screen, podium with microphone and wireless lavaliere microphone.
 

Professional Development Submissions

Presentations are 1 hour and 15 minutes in length. All presentations must include time for questions and answers. Individuals interested in presenting sessions on topics of interest to professional engineers and geoscientists should complete the submission form below by Thursday, February 28, 2019 for full consideration.
