Call for 2020 Annual Conference Presenters
The 2020 Call for Presenters is now open. Individuals interested in presenting sessions on topics of interest to professional engineers and geoscientists should complete the submission form below by Friday, March 13, 2020 for full consideration.
Where: Victoria Conference Centre, Victoria, BC
When: Thursday, October 15 to Saturday, October 17, 2020
The 2020 Annual Conference and Annual General Meeting will take place on October 15–17, 2020 in Victoria, BC. The conference and AGM will be held at the Victoria Conference Centre and will be the venue for 2 days of professional development sessions, networking opportunities, and an exhibitor tradeshow, followed by the 101st annual general meeting of Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia.
With a focus on presentations that reflect the challenges, successes, and innovations around the professions of engineering and geoscience, the conference will bring together engineers, geoscientists, technologists, faculty, government representatives, industry leaders, students, and other members of the community for 2 full days of professional development and networking. An anticipated 800 delegates will be in attendance at this year’s conference.

Please note presenters must be available on either Thursday, October 15 or Friday, October 16, 2020. If your proposal is accepted, we will notify you of the presentation date and time when confirmed. Each professional development meeting room will be set up in theater style and will be equipped with a laptop, LCD projector, screen, podium with microphone, and wireless lavaliere microphone.
Presentations are 1 hour and 15 minutes in length. All presentations must include time for questions and answers. Engineers and Geoscientists BC conference provide speakers the opportunity to share their expertise, knowledge and experience, and to network with colleagues.
