Our Infrastructure Operations Department currently has an opportunity for an Asset Management Coordinator. The successful candidate will join the project team focused on our Corporate Asset Management/Maintenance Management System, CityWorks. The role will be responsible for the ongoing operation of the system, including reporting, developing KPI’s, and coordinating activities to ensure that corporate infrastructure assets are maintained to optimize life cycle costs and minimize risks, while meeting established service levels.
The successful candidate will have an asset management, geographic information systems (GIS) or computer science diploma (or related field) in addition to 3–4 years’ experience coordinating asset management activities, preferably within a municipal setting. With excellent project management, communication, and customer-service skills, you are able to assist the City’s Operations teams by successfully supporting and maintaining the City’s asset management program, protocols, and policies. This is a CUPE bargaining unit position and the rate of pay starts at $38.36 per hour with a 3-step pay progression to $40.90 per hour.
