How Do I Renew My Registration?
Registrants can renew their registration online through their account using their 6-digit User ID number and password.
During the renewal process, you’ll have the option of changing your status or requesting a fee adjustment. Change options include:
- Change to Non-Practicing status
- Request a fee reduction due to financial hardship
- Parental leave options
- Request to waive the annual fee due to a medical condition
- Resign your registration
Your account also allows you to update your contact information, complete the Practice Declaration, make a contribution to the Foundation, and print your official income tax receipt.
How do I switch to Non-Practising status?
Registered professional engineers, professional geoscientists, and professional licensees may move from practising to non-practising status for a reduced fee if they commit not to practise professional engineering or professional geoscience.
During the renewal process, registrants will have the option of switching to Non-Practising status. Alternatively, you can select the “Apply for Non-Practising Status” link within your online account on the left-hand menu at any time.
