The District of Oak Bay is a picturesque oceanfront community within the Greater Victoria Region, with a population of over 18,000. With a progressive Council and Leadership Team in place, and with a significant infrastructure renewal program in its early stages receiving community support, the District is now seeking a Manager of Engineering Services to help take the program to the next level.

Reporting to the Director of Engineering and Public Works, the Manager of Engineering Services leads the team that delivers technical analysis, capital project delivery, and support to infrastructure operations and maintenance in the District.

Our ideal candidate will be a professional engineer (P.Eng.) with an educational background in civil or environmental engineering, with a minimum of 5 years supervisory/management experience delivering results in a local government environment. Senior engineering technologists (designated as AScT) with 7+ years supervisory/management experience may be considered.

The salary range for this position is $101,271–$116,161. The District offers a comprehensive benefits plan, a supportive work environment, and continued career and professional development.
