About the Event

GoldSpot has developed LithoLens, a modular software solution using artificial intelligence for cleaning, optimizing, and extracting data from rock imagery. This presentation details the extraction of fracture data from historic drill core photography. Extraction is underpinned by Deep Learning Artificial Intelligence, designed and trained by geotechnical experts to create a practical industry tool. Results are intended to support 3-D geology modelling, resource and geotechnical domaining/block modelling, and statistical analysis (e.g., of blast fragmentation potential).
