Event Description


Please join the Fraser Valley Branch for a tour of DP World - Centerm at the Vancouver Port Authority. This tour will focus on the operations of container terminals.

About the Event


The Port of Vancouver is about the same size as the next five largest Canadian ports combined. Home to 29 major terminals, the port is able to handle the most diversified range of cargo in North America: bulk, containers, breakbulk, liquid bulk, automobiles, and cruise, and services 5 - 30 deep-sea and domestic marine terminals for the automobiles, break-bulk, bulk, containers, and cruise industries.

Important Information

Directions to the meeting point and details for free parking will be provided for all registrants of this event and will be circulated via email closer to the date of the event. PPE is NOT required since the tour is to the control room located within the facility.
