Complete the online registration form to obtain a bridge building kit from one of the libraries. Participating libraries include: Coquitlam Library (Central and Poirier branch), Port Coquitlam Terry Fox Library, and Port Moody Library.

About the Event

Join the Tri-City Branch for its annual bridge building competition. The goal of this event is to promote the awareness of the engineering and geoscience industry through a fun learning environment. This year's event will be in person and will feature a bridge showcase, live testing, and science tutorials. Participants are required to bring their pre-constructed bridges to the venue.

Parking is available on site.

11:30-11:45 AM – Awards for Grade K-5
11:45-12:30 PM – Bridge Testing for Grade 6-8

1:00-1:15 PM – Awards for Grade 6-8
1:15-2:00 PM – Testing for Grade 9-12
1:00-2:15 PM – Awards for Grade 9-12
2:15 PM – Closing
