Registration is now open for our annual Science Games event, taking place on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the Telus World of Science in Vancouver. At Science Games, teams of students from grades one to six explore the principles and theories of science firsthand while completing challenges relating to engineering and geoscience.
At past events, teams have taken core samples, researched earthquakes, programmed robots, created a car powered only by a sail—and more.
There are only 32 team spots available, and they fill up quickly. Our registration is conducted by lottery rather than a first-come/first-served basis, to ensure all registrants have an equal opportunity to attend. Teams not selected by lottery will be placed on a wait list. Enter your team in the lottery by the end of the day on Tuesday, November 13, 2018, for a chance to participate.
If you know a group of youth or youth educators that may be interested in participating? Make sure to visit the Science Games webpage for more information about the event.
