Association's New Brand Wins Award

Engineers and Geoscientists BC’s new brand identity was honoured as one of the most effective rebrands in the 2018 REBRAND 100® Global Awards. This award for excellence in brand repositioning underscores the impact smart brand transformations can have, and the accompanying case studies reveal the power of brands as key assets of organizations around the world. 

The new Engineers and Geoscientists BC brand identity was developed and delivered under the 2014-2017 Strategic Plan and was launched in August 2017.  Under the direction of Council, the brand was defined and brought to life, reflecting the association's role as a modern, progressive regulator that works in the public interest. Consultation was an integral part of this process, and included engagement with members, stakeholders, and the public.

REBRAND 100® recognizes excellence in brand transformation, it is juried by a multidisciplinary panel of prominent, international experts. With this top-tier international marketing award, Engineers and Geoscientists BC is in the company of some of the world’s biggest brands, including Cadillac, Hewlett-Packard, Siemens, Merck, McAfee, SAP, and GE. We are one of two Canadian brands that have been recognized, and the only one from British Columbia.
