Engineers and Geoscientists BC wants to identify companies with programs, practices, or policies that promote diversity and inclusiveness in the workplace. Are there hiring practices you follow to improve diversity? Do you provide diversity and inclusiveness training to employees?
Recognizing that a diverse and inclusive membership strengthens the professions, the association supports a number of initiatives, from career awareness outreach to sponsorship of various camps, events, and research. The association is also actively involved in the Engineers Canada 30 by 30 initiative, which has a goal of raising the percentage of newly licensed engineers who are women to 30 percent by the year 2030.
