Continuing Professional Development Offerings - Member Survey

Posted on January 11, 2018

Engineers and Geoscientists BC offers continuing professional development (CPD) opportunities for members across the province. These opportunities include live seminars, live webinars, and an online learning center, where members can access previously recorded webinars to watch anywhere and at any time. The online learning centre was launched last year and now hosts 17 online learning opportunities, many of which are complimentary.

The majority of session topics are based on member feedback and cover a range of technical, ethical, legal, and business and management topics. Over the next month, Engineers and Geoscientists BC is conducting a member survey on the continuing professional development needs of its members. The survey is designed to seek feedback on topics of educational interest, learning needs, and preferred learning formats.  The majority of sessions offered by Engineers and Geoscientists BC were led by our own members, who were keen to share their experience and knowledge about engineering and geoscience practice in BC.

The information gathered will be used to identify gaps in current resources, and to provide direction for future offerings. The survey is available until February 18, 2018.

Members are encouraged to take the opportunity to share their feedback. The survey should take less than five minutes to complete, and participants are invited to enter a draw to win one of three one-day seminar CPD packages (some restrictions apply).

If you have any comments or questions about the survey, please contact the CPD department at [email protected]
