Learn How to Build an Inclusive Workplace Culture

Posted on March 1, 2023

Engineers and Geoscientists BC is offering a free Continuing Education (CE) course for registrants interested in exploring how to build an inclusive workplace culture. Supporting equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) within the professions is an important component of our 2022–2027 Strategic Plan and our regulatory mandate.

In the course called Psychological Safety, Understanding Bias and Allyship, Erin Davis, founder and lead inclusion strategist with Erin Davis Co., will explore the “why” behind building an inclusive workplace culture and how registrants can show up in a more inclusive way through a clear understanding of psychological safety, unconscious bias, and allyship.

Registrants should take this course if they are interested in learning more about how they can support and create inclusive workspaces. Registrants looking for additional resources on allyship and unconscious bias are encouraged to review our Professional Practice Guideline: Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.

If you are looking for more interactive opportunities to explore the three topics from this 1-hour overview in more depth, sign up for our upcoming 3-part workshop series on psychological safety, unconscious bias, and activating allyship.
