Engineers and Geoscientists BC is seeking nominations for 3 positions on our Board.
Together, the Board (previously known as Council) governs the organization and sets its policy and strategic direction so that it can fulfill its regulatory mandate and live its values.
As a registrant, the benefits of service on the Board include compensation for meeting time and associated travel expenses, building your network, having the opportunity to give back to the professions, and protecting the public and the environment in BC.
We highly encourage nominations from diverse communities, including but not limited to those with different genders, orientations, ethnicities, professional backgrounds, experiences, and more.
The deadline for nominations is Monday, March 13, 2023, at 5 PM. For more information about qualifications and requirements, visit egbc.ca/board-nominations.
After the nomination period closes, the Nomination Committee will review all applications and select nominees for the 2023 election. Registrants will elect 3 Board members in the fall of 2023. Elected Board members will then serve a 3-year term on the Board.
If you are interested in submitting a nomination but are unable to submit before the deadline, please contact [email protected].
