Nominations Open for 3 Board Member Positions
Engineers and Geoscientists BC is seeking nominations for 3 Board members to serve for 3-year terms.

Serving on the Board is a valuable opportunity to give back to the professions, protect the public and the environment, and ensure that engineers and geoscientists have a positive and enduring impact in BC. The Board governs the organization and sets policy and strategic direction to fulfill the regulatory mandate and values.

Application Process

The deadline for nominations is March 11, 2024, at 5 PM.  After the nomination period closes, the Nomination Committee will review all applications and select nominees for the 2024 election. Registrants will be notified about the specific election dates in the summer.

If you are interested in this opportunity and are curious to learn more about what service on the Board looks like, our Immediate Past Board Chair Mark Adams, P.Eng., will be available at the following times for 30-minute, individual sessions to answer questions.

  • February 26: from 8–10 AM 
  • February 28: from 8–10 AM

To recognize the time commitment associated with these roles, Board members are compensated for their meeting time and associated travel expenses.
