Nominations for National Fellowships Now Open

Posted on February 1, 2023

Engineers Canada and Geoscientists Canada both grant fellowships to individuals in recognition of their significant volunteer contributions to their respective professions.

Fellowships are given to individuals who have provided noteworthy service or have served as a volunteer for the engineering or geoscience professions for at least 10 years. Applicable activities include board or committee service with Engineers Canada or Geoscientists Canada, or volunteer work for the organizations' constituent organizations (e.g., Engineers and Geoscientists BC, APEGA, etc.).

Nominations for these fellowships must be made by constituent organizations. For more information on the criteria for eligibility, and how you can apply or nominate someone, visit the Engineers Canada Fellowship and Geoscientists Canada Fellowship webpages. Fellowship submissions must be received by Thursday, April 6, 2023.

Engineers Canada and Geoscientists Canada fellows receive a certificate and a pin, and may use a fellowship designation (i.e., “Fellow of Engineers Canada – FEC”, “Fellow of Geoscientists Canada – FGC).

To view lists of those who have already received fellowships, visit Engineers Canada's Fellowship Recipients page and Geoscientists Canada's website.
