Engineers and Geoscientists BC is hosting two continuing education opportunities that focus on equity, diversity, and inclusion. These opportunities will focus on developing communication skills for women in leadership roles, and building strong inclusive teams in the workplace.

The Women in Leadership Series is a 4-part webinar series between April 26 and May 17, 2021. The webinars will discuss the importance of communicating with clarity and intention, adopting a powerful vocal and physical presence, and building an authentic and strategic leadership brand.  Participants can register for some or all webinars. Registration also includes one-year access to a self-learning course, which aims to support virtual leadership communication. To learn more about the series, or to register, visit the event page or email Tasha Booth at [email protected].

Engineers and Geoscientists BC is also offering the Inclusive Leadership Program, which combines several webinars, along with videos, quizzes, and facilitated learning to provide organizational leaders with the communication tools needed to create inclusive teams and inclusive workplaces. This program will enable registrants to get the most out of diverse teams by creating a more inclusive work environment.   The program will run through May and June, and the webinars are scheduled for May 12, May 17, and June 2.
