These compendiums introduce a wide range of climate change tools and resources that are beyond the scope of this Climate Change Information Portal that are relevant to professionals working within and outside of BC.

Environment and Climate Change Canada	Environment and Climate Change Canada’s Strategic Assessment of Climate Change (SACC) The SACC describes the greenhouse gas (GHG) and climate change information that project proponents need to submit at each phase of a federal impact assessment and clarifies how this information will be reviewed. It will enable consistent, predictable, efficient, and transparent consideration of climate change throughout the impact assessment process.
ESSA Technologies for Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment	Tools for Climate Change Vulnerability Assessments for Watersheds This compendium of tools is aimed at technical experts, adaptation planners, and resource managers to develop climate change vulnerability assessments of water quantity and water quality at a watershed scale.
Government of BC	ClimateReadyBC Resource Catalogue ClimateReadyBC is a central, open information portal where climate and disaster risk data, information and resources can be explored by communities, organizations, and individuals to identify the risks they face, how they are created, and how they can be effectively managed. Through ClimateReadyBC, resources are made available and accessible to help professionals, local governments, and First Nations to understand the impacts and consequences of hazards, offer guidance and support in adaptation and mitigation planning, and provide insights into best practices and lessons learned from other communities. This catalogue of resources includes: Guidelines and guidance documents Strategic plans and frameworks Toolkits and best practices Publications and “what we heard” reports Funding programs Case studies Resources vary from local perspectives and provincial guidelines to national and international strategic frameworks and best practices.
Local Governments for Sustainability Canada (ICLEI Canada)	Adaptation Library: Community Resources for Climate Adaptation The library produces filtered, community-related adaptation tools and resources, and guides the user on how these tools and resources can support their climate change adaptation efforts.
Natural Resources Canada	Canada's Changing Climate Report This report is about how and why Canada’s climate has changed and what changes are projected for the future. Led by Environment and Climate Change Canada, this document is the first of a series to be released as part of Canada in a Changing Climate: Advancing our Knowledge for Action. It documents changes across Canada in temperature, precipitation, snow, ice, permafrost, and freshwater availability as well as in Canada’s three oceans.
