University geoscience programs are not formally accredited. Earth science students who wish to obtain geoscientist-in-training (GIT) or professional geoscientist (P.Geo.) licensure after graduation must ensure they meet the academic qualifications that we have established. BC institution-specific course equivalency lists are available for environmental geoscience and geology. General syllabi are available for students studying outside of BC or geophysics students.
