School Outreach & Career Awareness
At Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia, we believe the future of the professions depends on the students of today. Increasing student interest and engagement with engineering and geoscience ensures the sustainability of these professions for the future.
For these reasons, we offer numerous services available to registrants, students, and educators, to direct young and enthusiastic minds to these two exciting professions.
Are you looking for ways to engage students in science? We can arrange for an engineer or geoscientist to visit your group and talk to students about the professions. Engineers and Geoscientists BC also has activity ideas and other resources available for teachers.
Do you enjoy science, learning new things, and experimenting? Engineers and geoscientists use science to explore the world around us, create new things, and improve the world we live in. Learn more about what engineers and geoscientists do.
Interested in a career as an engineer or geoscientist? Learn more about these careers, what engineers and geoscientists do, how to apply for our scholarships, and more.
Are you a BC organization or student group seeking support for a science-based learning experience for students?
We suggest submitting a grant request. Engineers and Geoscientists BC reviews each request for alignment with our organization's outreach goals to support as many requests as possible within our limited budget.
