Please join us for networking, dinner, and presentations as part of our Vice President’s Dinner. In addition to the Vice President's address scheduled for the evening, there will be an update on the Professional Governance Act and we will be holding our Branch AGM as part of this event. About the Event

For more information on the Professional Governance Act and the topics that will be referred to during this presentation, please refer to our recent article The Current Status of the Professional Governance Act. These topics include:

  • When the Act will come into force;
  • The process for nominating members to run for election to Council;
  • Regulation of firms;
  • Competency and Conflict of Interest Declarations; and
  • Independent practice rights of professionals.
