Engineers and Geoscientists BC is looking for experienced practitioners with a strong desire to protect the public and enhance public safety. If this describes you, consider applying to serve on Council.

The Council of Engineers and Geoscientists BC works together to govern the organization, playing an essential role in ensuring it fulfills its mandate. Councillors contribute to providing strategic direction to Engineers and Geoscientists BC, and make an important contribution to the protection of the public and the integrity of the professions of engineering and geoscience in BC.

Engineers and Geoscientists BC is committed to advancing diversity and inclusion in the governance of the professions and is seeking candidates with diverse backgrounds, experience, and expertise.

This is an exceptional leadership opportunity at a transformative time for the organization as Council guides the organization under new legislation and initiatives, continues to work to enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion, and focuses on implementing a new strategic plan for the years ahead.

We believe equity, diversity, and inclusion promotes different perspectives and ideas, mitigates against uniformity, and ensures the organization can benefit from all available talent in support of good governance. We believe that there needs to be more diversity at Council to better represent the increasing diversity of our province and the professions.
