Truth & Reconciliation Resource List Now Available
To support the Truth and Reconciliation journeys of staff and registrants, Engineers and Geoscientists BC’s equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) team has compiled a Truth and Reconciliation Resource List.

The list features:

  • Engineers and Geoscientists BC resources
  • learning modules from third-party providers
  • guides and guidelines
  • information on land acknowledgements
  • videos, articles, books, events, and podcasts

“One of the most important principles of Truth and Reconciliation is acknowledging the ongoing need to learn, unlearn, and listen with humility,” said Sneha Satheendran, EDI Manager with Engineers and Geoscientists BC’s Programs and Continuing Education. “In this spirit, our Truth and Reconciliation Working Group, along with some contributions from staff members, has compiled a list of resources to support learning and reflection.

“As we approach the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30, we are sharing this resource list with registrants and staff. We hope these materials encourage deeper conversation, engagement, and continued commitment to reconciliation,” Satheendran added.
