Later this month, for the first time in its history, Engineers and Geoscientists BC is holding its annual conference virtually—and conference delegates will have access to most of the conference’s sessions after the conference is complete. The annual conference is scheduled for October 21–23, 2020.
Conference registration includes an all-access pass to all three keynote speakers (Dr. Roberta Bondar, Bob Joseph, and Dr. Sheryl Staub-French, P.Eng.), plus professional development opportunities through 10 professional development streams. The streams are: Engineering and Geoscience in the Resource Sector; Environmental Engineering and Geoscience; Municipal Engineering; Emerging Professional; Management; Regulatory Affairs; Structural, Energy Efficiency, and Renewable Energy; Better Business; and Diversity and Inclusion.
The virtual nature of the annual conference is ideal for professionals working remotely and provides access and flexibility to registrants from anywhere in the world. To register for the conference, visit egbc.ca/conference. All sessions will be available on-demand after the conference unless otherwise specified.
Engineers and Geoscientists BC’s Annual General Meeting, also planned to be held virtually, is scheduled for Saturday, October 17, 2020. For more information about the AGM, visit egbc.ca/agm.
