Why are you closing your job board?  

As we complete our planned transition to activities focused solely on regulation, our Career Listings job board will be closed on July 8, 2026. The BC Society of Engineering and Geoscience will now provide a similar service.  

When are you closing your job board?  

Engineers and Geoscientists BC’s job board will close on July 8, 2026.  

When is the last day I can post an ad?  

For new clients (those who have never created a job posting account with us before), the last day to purchase an ad will be May 19, 2026. 

For existing clients who have a job posting account with us, the last day to purchase an ad will be June 16, 2026. 

Please note: ads will remain $360 + GST and will not be prorated, even if they run for fewer days due to the July 8, 2026 job board closure.

Can I still purchase pre-paid posting credits?  

Employers can purchase 5 and 10 packs until May 19, 2026. After that, packages will not be sold.  

If you have purchased a pre-paid ad pack, these will be honoured until June 16, 2026. If a balance remains after that date, we will refund the unused portion. 

Can I get a refund for unused posting packages I’ve previously purchased? 

Yes – prorated refunds will be sent after the job board closes.  

Will registrants still receive the weekly Featured Listing email? 

Along with the close of the Career Listings service, the Featured Listing emails will be discontinued.  

The last weekly Featured Listing email will be sent to registrants on June 30, 2026.  

When is the last day I can submit an ad for the Featured Listing email? 

Monday June 29, 2026 is the last day you can purchase inclusion into the Featured Listing email. The last Featured Listing email will be sent on June 30, 2026.
