Firm Practice Enhancement Program (Sustainability)

Goals of the Program

This program was identified as a key action from Engineers and Geoscientists BC’s Climate Change Action Plan and Organizational Climate Change Strategy. The purpose of the program is to provide firms with guidance and resources that enable them to support individual registrants in integrating climate and sustainability considerations into their professional work. The program will provide a structured process for identifying the opportunities for integration, and guide and support registrants and firms in implementation.

What to Expect

Free of charge, this program will provide a structured process for identifying opportunities for integration of sustainability and climate considerations, action planning, and supporting registrants and firms in implementation. The program will launch as a cohort starting January 2027. There may be a second cohort starting in March 2027 if there is enough interest. The first year of the program will run through to December 2027 with up to 20 firms in total.
