Board Applications Open January 12

Engineers and Geoscientists BC will start accepting applications on January 12 for candidates interested in entering the 2026 Board election. The deadline to apply is March 13 at 5 PM. This year, there are four open seats on the Board.
The Board governs the organization and sets policy and strategic direction to fulfill its regulatory mandate and support the core values. Elections for new members are held annually in late summer.
Serving on the Board offers a meaningful opportunity to give back to the professions, protect the public and the environment, and ensure that engineers and geoscientists make a lasting and positive impact in BC.
To recognize the time commitment required (read here for details of Board responsibilities), Board members receive compensation for meeting time and related travel expenses.
We encourage applications by registrants from diverse communities, including but not limited to, those with different genders, orientations, ethnicities, professional backgrounds, and lived experiences.
