Discipline Notice: Hamid Majid Hussain

In a February 26, 2026, Consent Order, Hamid Majid Hussain admitted that he demonstrated professional misconduct in relation to the engineering services he provided for projects located in Abbotsford, New Westminster, and Pemberton.
Second, Mr. Hussain admitted that he demonstrated professional misconduct with respect to the improper authentication of a survey letter for a property in Abbotsford.
Lastly, Mr. Hussain admitted that he demonstrated professional misconduct with respect to engineering services and inspection services he provided on truss design documents in support of three single family properties in Pemberton. Specifically, Mr. Hussain admitted he sealed truss layouts and shop drawings that had fundamental engineering deficiencies and lacked critical design information. In addition, Mr. Hussain admitted that he failed to maintain accurate and complete records.
On February 26, 2026, Mr. Hussain and Engineers and Geoscientists BC agreed to resolve these matters by means of a Consent Order in which his registration with Engineers and Geoscientists BC is cancelled. Mr. Hussain paid $3,700 towards the legal and investigative costs of Engineers and Geoscientists BC.
