Discipline Notice: Stanko Paleksic, P.Eng.

In an April 4, 2026, Reprimand or Remedial Action by Consent (RRAC), Stanko Paleksic, P.Eng., admitted that he demonstrated unprofessional conduct when he engaged in inappropriate conduct towards a colleague. Mr. Paleksic undertakes to complete educational offerings. 

Mr. Paleksic admitted that between 2009 and 2014, he engaged in inappropriate conduct towards a colleague, including comments of a sexual nature and comments about the colleague’s body. Mr. Paleksic admitted that his conduct constituted unprofessional conduct contrary to the Engineers and Geoscientists Act and that his conduct was contrary to the Engineers and Geoscientists BC Code of Ethics which requires that registrants conduct themselves with fairness, courtesy, and good faith towards clients, colleagues, and others and promote health and safety within the workplace.  

On April 4, 2026, Mr. Paleksic and Engineers and Geoscientists BC agreed to a RRAC in which Mr. Paleksic undertakes to not repeat such conduct and to complete all the following tasks within three months: read and become familiar with Engineers and Geoscientists BC Guide to the Code of Ethics, Version 2.0, published on March 12, 2021; complete the Understanding the New Code of Ethics Webinar offered by Engineers and Geoscientists BC; and complete the 3-Step Sensitivity Training Program offered by Sensitivity Training Canada.  

If Mr. Paleksic fails to comply with any of the terms of the RRAC, a citation may be issued for a discipline hearing into the matter.
